Christmas Melodies: Double Stop Solos and Duets For Cello, Volume I

I am really excited to present my first book for the cello! Like my previous violin and viola double stop solos and duets Volumes, the cello student plays a duet with their teacher of a Christmas Carol. After playing the duet, the student immediately goes to the double stop solo, where the same, identical notes written in the duet are rewritten for one player.

Students love playing fun and familiar music and this Volume is an excellent tool to draw cello students into the magical world of double stops. There are lots of open strings involving octaves, thirds and sixths, which makes this a very nice introductory Volume to learn about double stops.
