CM For Violin: Duets Cubed…3 Verses of FUN!, Melody-Harmony Advanced Tradeoffs

In this Advanced Volume, all the notes are the same as in my easier “Duets³ Volume.” However, in this version, the melodies and harmonies tradeoff. In particular, both players need to be strong readers with advanced shifting and string crossing skills in order to make smooth transitions between the melody and harmony, when playing these Christmas Carols.

The tradeoff spots don’t happen that often within a verse in order to maintain a natural musical flow. This Volume is great for two “hot-shot” players, whether they are gigging or just plain having fun together!
