Hymn Melodies For Four Violins contain two separate arrangements of A Mighty Fortress and Onward Christian Soldiers, which are two of the most famous and well-known hymns of the past century.
The unique feature about these intermediate, Suzuki book 4 level arrangements is that there are two contrasting verses, the first verse being somewhat plain and simple, while the second verse is much more elaborate and ornamental. This provides a nice length and also adds contrast and a welcome change of pace to the arrangements.
I have worked very hard to try and make each of the four violin parts equally challenging, so that every player will have something interesting and challenging to share. Counting and shifting challenges abound. These are great for students to share at church services or to just play for fun in your living room!
